Extended Warranties
Vette Limited Warranty (LW) with Extended Parts & Labor Warranty (EPLW)
Vette warranties offer you piece of mind, budget protection and speedy
service.
- Peace of Mind – Extended Warranties ensure you will not
be surprised by an extended outage or the unplanned cost associated
with repair or replacement of major equipment.
- Budget Protection –Extended Warranties will protect your
investment in capital equipment. Because the failure of any mechanical
system is guaranteed over time, the cost of a Rapid Response service
call with parts and labor can quickly exceed the cost the warranty
program itself.
- Rapid Response – Just call Vette if your equipment should
break or malfunction and a VGS trained service technician will
help solve the problem.
What is the difference between the Vette Limited Warranty, Preventive
Maintenance contract and Extended Parts & Labor Warranty?
- Vette’s Limited Warranty (LW) covers the parts
(or parts and labor) costs to repair or replace your Vette Datacom
Facilities Cooling (VDC) equipment following Start-Up & Commissioning
by Vette Global Services (VGS). VGS offers Limited Warranty service
for all your VDC cooling system components including Rear Door
Heat Exchangers, Hose Assemblies and Coolant Distribution (CDU)
units.
- Vette’s Preventive Maintenance contracts (PM)
can be ordered alone or as bundles. Common requests are for 6-month
and 1-year service intervals, though custom contracts can be quoted
as needed. PM visits are scheduled to verify proper operation
of the equipment and identify or prevent impending problems before
they happen. Preventive Maintenance visits cannot be substituted
for un-scheduled maintenance visits if the equipment is not covered
under a warrantythat includes labor.
- Vette’s Extended Parts & Labor Warranty (EPLW)
protects you from unexpected and unbudgeted service calls after
the Vette Limited Warranty has expired. VGS offers Extended Parts
& Labor Warranty contracts for all of your VDC cooling system
components. These contracts can be renewed annually or purchased
as multi-year contracts.
Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions
- Part shipments are by ground carrier unless upgraded VGS response contracts are in place for the equipment in question.
- Vette equipment not installed by VGS is covered by a Parts-Only Replacement Warranty if the equipment serial numbers have been registered with VGS or if proof of purchase date can be otherwise provided.
- VGS technician on-site response is available during normal business hours (8am – 5pm) and is best-endeavor unless upgraded VGS response contracts are in place for the equipment in question.
- Upgraded service options include the following:
- 24-hour service technician response
- Air-freight of parts for next-day delivery (where available).
